Pawsitive News

Okay I know my headers are corny and I'm okay with that LOL

I think sometimes about how the only good news is bad news, so I wanted to start a section where people can share things that are positive. This does not only have to be things in the actual media but even within your own life, lets share some heart warming positive stories. I consider myself an optimist but it can be hard sometimes when you consider the onslaught of negative press.

Just as a side note I know we have some great trainers and ambassadors on here who are accomplishing some very positive things with their dogs and the general public so please don't think you need to list all your achievements here in this thread, unless you want to then by all means I just wanted to get this topic rolling to get some good vibrations flowing

Just to get the ball rolling I would like to share the fact that Archie has helped change the view within our breed on more than one occasion, namely starting with my wifes parents while I don't think they hated pit bulls, they weren't terribly familiar with them either and only knew what they had seen in the evening news. Today I can proudly proclaim that my Mother in law loves Archie very much, the father in law, well, he likes Archie but then again I don't take him for a huge animal lover so I'll take what I can get :D

There is lots more where that came from but I'll save that news for another day.

After watching Man-Man get so sick I freaked and rushed Archie to the vet to get his physical and shots LOL despite the fact that he showed no signs of anything wrong :D

Anyway, the the vet said he is as healthy as an ox, everyone loved him and or course he loved EVERYONE. Admittedly his nails are a little long and his dew claws are vicious  so he did unintentionally scratch the vet in the tummy while trying to maul her with love  Aside from that his teeth looked great and she even complimented us on what good shape he is considering that he is neutered....she probably thought I eat his food

Seriously though just wanted to share some good news!

PS, Christen everyone loves Archie's harness  :D I know I said I'd take some pics and I will I'm just horrible at following through  Anyway people do really like it...welllll aside from my Mom hahaha she said it looks like the kind of harness drug dealers put on their dogs  but she did have to admit its pretty cool.

I think it looks like battle attire, which is badazz!

Good to hear Evan. I have Operation Nail Grind set up out in the car port, permanently now... you'll have to bring him down for a buzz job.

I probably should, I have mislocated my nail trimmers and haven't gotten new ones, I planned on taking care of it yesterday at my moms but forgot :x
